I don’t suppose this is really a recipe, but it is of sorts. On the 4th I cooked ribeyes on the grill, used a simple marinade for a couple of hours: soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and damned if I can remember what else, but not much. The cooked steaks were great, but the extra steak is what really rocked.
I may be one of the only people in the world who loves leftover Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches. So, the next day was ribeye sandwich time. I used a whole grain store bought bread, nothing special. Mayo on both sides (Dukes mayo, the best). Thinly sliced ribeye (and mine is rare, perhaps too rare for most) goes on, then a thin layer of softened blue cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Very yummy! As an A-1 sauce addict, a bit of that added is also a nice addition if you like it.
